New Narnia film to be shot in Qld

“Queensland has attracted one of the biggest budget films to ever be shot in Australia.

Queensland Premier Anna Bligh today confirmed the multi-million dollar Chronicles Of Narnia: Voyage Of Dawn Treader will be filmed on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane later this year.

She told State Parliament the Walden Media/20th Century Fox feature film will employ about 2,000 Queenslanders during production.

“Jobs for extras, wardrobe assistants, make-up artists, drivers, production staff, set designers, set builders who will gain work and valuable experience during the production,” she said.”
