New Narnia film to be shot in Qld

“Queensland has attracted one of the biggest budget films to ever be shot in Australia.

Queensland Premier Anna Bligh today confirmed the multi-million dollar Chronicles Of Narnia: Voyage Of Dawn Treader will be filmed on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane later this year.

She told State Parliament the Walden Media/20th Century Fox feature film will employ about 2,000 Queenslanders during production.

“Jobs for extras, wardrobe assistants, make-up artists, drivers, production staff, set designers, set builders who will gain work and valuable experience during the production,” she said.”

Just watched the end of Diary of a Heroin Addict on channel 2. It was pretty heavy. Definitely worth watching, it follows a junkie called Ben who filmed the last two years of his life, right up until the day before his death. I think it will be on iView soon.

Then we were God Hates Figs, Department of Homeland Obscurity, Flames for Flames, Muscle Confusion, Nothing Rhymes With Orange, then Everything Rhymes With Orange, Punch Face Champions, Rad Wagon, Puppy Pendulum, Possum Pendulum, Penis Pendulum, Handrail Suicide, Angel Snack, Just the Tip, Threeskin, Jet Black Pope. We went back to Mouse Rat and now we are Scarecrow Boat.
